This live camera follows the seedling stage of Arctic ginger and Arctic turmeric in our nursery. The plants are currently growing under LED lights in carefully controlled conditions, where temperature, humidity, and light are precisely monitored.
Both ginger and turmeric grow from underground rhizomes, producing new shoots while developing their root system. At this early stage, growth is still slow, but it is critical for the strength and quality of the final harvest. Next, the plants will be transferred to the greenhouse, where cultivation continues under natural and controlled conditions. Arctic Elixir Farm in Finland is home to the world’s northernmost ginger and turmeric cultivation.
