The Cream for the Eye Area

We are looking for 100 testers for our next user study. Selected participants will receive Arctic Elixir The Cream (30 ml) free of charge for the duration of the test.

Test goal: to evaluate how The Cream performs as an eye-area cream in addition to being used as a face cream, as part of a consistent routine.

Note: Cosmetic product, not a medicine.

Test duration: 8 weeks
Spots: 100
Application period: 16 Jan 2026 – 30 Jan 2026
Test starts: 7–10 Feb 2026 (final start date will be confirmed with the product shipment)

Usage groups: some participants will use it once daily, some morning + evening (twice daily)

Why are we running this test?

The Cream was developed primarily for facial skin. In recent months, we’ve repeatedly received feedback from users who have also used the cream around the eye area, and some have reported:

  • observations of changes in the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles around the eyes
  • visual observations of stronger-looking lashes
  • and observations related to lash length

As a manufacturer, we will not present these kinds of significant effects in product information or marketing without a comprehensive follow-up test, where these specific outcomes are evaluated in a structured and consistent way.

That’s why we’re launching a 100-person, 8-week test, to collect a broader, more diverse, and more comparable set of user data on eye-area use — and to see whether usage frequency (once daily vs twice daily) influences the observations.

What will we track?

This test focuses on the eye area (face use continues normally as part of the routine):

1) Eye-area skin feel and appearance

  • hydration feel and overall “comfort”
  • smoothness and softness
  • user observations on the appearance of lines/wrinkles (questionnaire + optional photo tracking)

2) Lash-related user observations

  • perceived lash appearance and “strength”
  • observations related to length/density (if any occur)

3) Tolerability

  • possible stinging, redness, swelling, itching
  • any reactions in the eye area (to be reported immediately)

Important: This is a user test for cosmetic product development. We do not promise individual results, and experiences may vary.

Test structure (8 weeks)

  • Duration: 8 weeks
  • Usage groups (assigned among testers):
    • Group A: once daily (morning or evening — specified in instructions)
    • Group B: twice daily (morning + evening)

Checkpoints

  • Week 0 (baseline): questionnaire + optional photos
  • Week 4: questionnaire
  • Week 8 (end): questionnaire + optional photos

Checkpoints can be fine-tuned, but this schedule makes the results easy to compare.

How to use during the test (eye area)

  • Use a very small amount (a “rice-grain” size per eye area)
  • Gently tap onto the eye-area skin (not into the inner eyelid area, not along the lash line)
  • Avoid getting the product into the eyes
  • Follow your assigned usage frequency and document your experience

Tip: For the eye area, “less is more.” The goal is to track the effect of a consistent routine, not a large amount of product.

Who is this test for?

This test is a good fit if you:

  • want to try The Cream around the eye area as well
  • can commit to the full 8 weeks and your assigned usage frequency
  • can complete short questionnaires and take photos if you choose to participate in photo tracking

This test is not suitable / requires special consideration if you:

  • know you are very sensitive around the eyes (you may still apply, but please mention this in your application)
  • currently have inflammation, strong irritation, or open skin around the eye area

What do testers receive?

  • an opportunity to influence how the product is instructed and described in the future (especially for eye-area use)
  • The Cream (30 ml) free of charge for testing
  • clear instructions and a tracking model (questionnaires + optional photo comparison)

Safety and important notes?

Cosmetic products may cause individual sensitivity.

Stop use and inform the contact person if you experience:

  • clear or persistent irritation or unusual redness
  • intense itching, stinging, swelling, or rash
  • any reaction that clearly worsens with continued use

This is not a medical study, and the product is not intended to treat disease.
